Our Journey

The family band is an idea around LeonTimbo‘s upbringing that is deeply intertwined with the stories and experiences shared among his relatives. Surrounded by the love and support of his cousins while growing up, he has developed a unique perspective on the concept of family. He’s always seen any new person as extended family, welcoming them with open arms and a warm heart. This spirit of inclusivity is what leans into the Americana space, which began with an adventurous eight city tour in a vintage Coachman RV. Throughout this journey, the bonds they formed and the joyous memories they created lingered in their hearts. Whether they were singing at vibrant festivals, participating in community rallies, performing in intimate theaters, sharing their sound in concert halls, connecting with students at colleges and universities, or bringing joy to local churches and Nana‘s cozy back porch, each event solidified their identity as a family band.
